Caudalie Review > VINOPERFECT Radiance Serum/ Overnight Cell Renewal Cream/ Moisturiser/ Tinted Moisturiser SPF 20

Published by Jasmine Seo

Caudalie VINOPERFECT range has been something that I've been using every year especially throughout the summer and during early autumn. It's funny because I never got to buy the full size products as I always get them as part of a GWP whenever I purchase their body scrubs and elixir mist :3. Those deluxe samples tend to last for a couple of months. Regardless, here is how I feel about the products.

Caudalie VINOPERFECT Radiance Serum, VINOPERFECT Overnight Cell Renewal Cream, VINOPERFECT Moisturiser Broad Spectrum Fluid SPF 20 & VINOPERFECT Tinited Moisturiser SPF 20

VINOPERFECT Radiance Serum

VINOPERFECT Radiance Serum has a very pleasant runny light texture that absorbs into skin fast. Light yet mighty! It leaves skin with a very beautiful glow and keeps skin well hydrated, which is very unusual for traditional lightening serums on the market which tend to be either too light or too sticky. It didn’t give me any breakouts or any sensitivities, which is another bonus. Oh, and it's also great for healing pimple marks after squeezing out! :3.

I have been using VINOPERFECT Radiance Serum for the past few years, but I haven't seen any reduction in the number of sun spots honestly. I do however feel that it has been keeping the new sun spots at bay and preventing those existing sun spots from getting darker and more pronounced. I've also noticed that, it somehow helps my skin to get tanned a bit more evenly and nicely. Trust me, no matter how religiously I re-apply my sunscreen, I somehow get tanned in summer -_-.... LOL.

VINOPERFECT Moisturiser Broad Spectrum Fluid SPF 20 & VINOPERFECT Tinited Moisturiser SPF 20

Both VINOPERFECT Moisturiser and VINOPERFECT Tinited Moisturiser are in the same lightweight emulsion category, which makes them great for hot and humid weather and for those who enjoy fast-absorbing, barely there type moisturisers.

I must say that VINOPERFECT Radiance Serum is much more hydrating, so if you are contemplating which one to get just for hydration, then I recommend the serum. For longer lasting hydration and brightening benefits, it's best to use the whole range together, but if you have an oily skin type, then you can try either the serum or one of those moisturisers.

The moisturisers have a bit of built-in SPF protection, but sadly I've noticed that it isn't entirely reliable even during the winter or on rainy days. I strongly recommend you apply a sunscreen on top unless you stay inside most of the time and you are ready to re-apply the same moisturiser once every few hours.

Thanks to their consistency, I found them great for working under any types of foundations. If you decide to use their VINOPERFECT Tinted Moisturiser, and have a good skin in general, then you can simply use a concealer on top as it just gives skin a very nice healthy natural glow. I've been using the shade in medium, which is darker than my skin tone, but it has been working brilliantly on my tanned summer skin.

My skin is on a dehydrating side, so I've actually using all three together in the morning; serum - moisturiser - tinted moisturiser. There have been no breakouts and they clearly do bring the radiance back almost immediately.

VINOPERFECT Overnight Cell Renewal Cream

VINOPERFECT Overnight Cell Renewal Cream smells fresh and delicious like the rest. It makes me feel very summery indeed <3.

Unlike their daytime moisturisers, the nighttime moisturiser has an interesting creamy balm texture that melts onto skin upon application. I say interesting, because it has a such a lightweight consistency for a thicker textured moisturiser.

It goes on very creamy like a sorbet and leaves skin very silky and smooth to touch.
It’s so soft that I can’t help touching my skin even though I shouldn’t XD.

There’s one thing you should remember though. Once Night Cream is applied, it almost creates a fine film on top of skin. That means it can be peeled off if you layer products with incompatible texture (eg. mattifying ones) underneath or on top of the cream.

Overall

I’ve experienced some positive results using the serum and night cream. Although I didn’t see much improvement on my dark spots, I’ve seen quite a noticeable brightening and evening effect on my skin over time. Even with my irregular sleep pattern, they’ve been kept my skin looking more awake and alive night after night XD. It hasn't been dramatically noticeable though.
Both serum and cream may not be hydrating enough over colder seasons, but it’s perfect for warmer seasons and for those with oilier skin. I’m quite impressed overall.
