VI Peel Review > Day 4 & 5 / Skin care regime ( ft. Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Liquid, Cream & Oil Balm )

Published by Jasmine Seo

Day 4

In the morning

Only nose area is quite oily. The bottom third of my face is visibly peeling. My man was freaked out lol. Itchiness is almost gone.

In the afternoon

My forehead hair line area seems to have started peeling off a bit.

In the evening

Itch is gone. Center of my face and around my lips started to peel. Especially my nose area is peeling a lot.

Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Liquid has been a saviour for my dry skin after washing my face and neck. I just dab it on and my skin just loves it. However, it started to sting temporarily on the freshly peeled areas whenever I applied Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Oil Balm, but that discomfort went away after about 5-10 minutes or so. By the way, I scoop out a generous amount of the oil balm and melt it in between my palms before dabbing it onto my skin, including around the eye and lip areas. Although it stung a bit, it made a great protective coat over my skin with instant hydration. If you have extreme sensitivity though, I wouldn’t even bother trying other moisturisers apart from Protectant that you are initially given after the peel.

Day 5

My skin felt the most sensitive on day 5.

In the morning

My jawline is peeling heavily. Around my eyes started to peel. Neck and eye area is quite itchy. Washed my face with patting motion.

In the afternoon / evening

Itch is gone. Major peeling has been occurring, so better stay in. I can gently remove dead skin layer when I wash my face and put on a moisturiser. It comes off very easily. Somehow my ear areas are peeling too O_O. The new fresh skin indeed looks visibly brighter and very smooth.

Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Liquid still works great on my skin without stinging. However, as it’s the major peeling day, Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Oil Balm stings way more than yesterday. The stinging lasted for about 5-10 minutes after putting it on.
