West Paw Design Review > Zogoflex Zisc Frisbee (Ft. Our Border Collie Yena's 2nd Birthday)

The power of time is indeed incredible, I can really feel our Yena has been acting much more mature than last year. She even now knows when I start and finish doing my face and even likes to join me in the bathroom when I'm getting ready.

Lately, my man has been catching up on the last seasons of The Walking Dead, and Yena has been sticking to me more as the series can be quite disturbing. Although I'm interested in the story line of the show, I haven't really enjoyed watching it so my man has been telling me the stories after each episode :P.

I always thought that Yena seemed more independent, but for the past few months at least, I can feel that she has been rather dependent just like her sister Yuna :3. Yena has been sleeping in the bed with us rather than on the couch, and she has even been accompanying me when I write a post by sitting right next to me like blu-tack. She has become more confident and clever and has been enjoying policing other dogs at Marymoor Park as well as Yuna at home. So when Yuna tries to dig the couch when she's very tired, Yena has been always stopping her >_< Haha, I know, she may be smaller than Yuna, but Yena has great stamina.

West Paw Design Zogoflex Zisc Flying Dog Toy

Anyways, what could be a better gift for our border collie Yena? :P She loves playing frisbee so much that we got West Paw Design Zogoflex Zisc Frisbee just for herself :). We named it glowing frisbee as it actually glows in the dark, we thought it would be the perfect frisbee to play even when it gets dark!

To be honest, there are so many frisbees from different companies, we picked West Paw Design as we've found that they make quality/eco-friendly toys and we do care about our dogs' health. Yes, we don't compromise quality when it comes to our babies' well-being :) I bet you don't either!

It's certainly lighter than Yuna's Kong frisbee and flies better because of that. Although it's still slightly heavier than a regular frisbee, but it's tougher and our Yena doesn't have any trouble carrying it around. It doesn't have that Kong rubbery smell, and it's much easier for me (as a woman) to throw it far for Yena.

Our dogs don't have any chewing issues, but West Paw Design Zogoflex Zisc Frisbee is also FDA-compliant, so if your dog happens to eat some bits accidentally, your dog will still be safe. Nevertheless, I personally think that it's always best to keep the toys like tennis balls and frisbees away when you don't play with your dogs, just to be safe.
