I was just doing my regular new year organising for my beauty cabinet and pouch as usual, then it came to my mind that I should review the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer for my readers. Something that always happens to me is that I often forget to review those products that never run out as I stock them, meaning they are my most go-to's. As I've mentioned few times in my previous posts, I have sensitive lips and I cannot use certain products even if they are made of 100% natural organic ingredients. Yes, my lips are just like my face that has low tolerance to some of the plant oils that are commonly used in natural skincare. Anyways, I came across this Dior Addict Lip Maximizer a couple of years ago, and I've been using it ever since.
Consistency
I honestly didn't really care whether it volumises lips or not as it's not a filler that you can get at dermatologist's. I just wanted a lip primer that doesn't make my lips itchy so I could wear my lipsticks more often :3 It's in a regular lip gloss texture, and the 001 Pink shade goes on sheer. It has a bit of a sticky finish like other lip glosses on the market, but it works fine under my colour lip balms and also lipsticks.

Verdict
As indicated in the product name lip maximizer per se, it does deliver a subtle plumping effect. Sadly though, it's temporary, so you will need to re-apply throughout the day. The problem is that it may not be an ideal if your lips get very dry easily. I have very dry lips, so I've been always dabbing a bit of my hydrating serum or cream on my lips before using the lip primer. I've noticed that it extends not only the longevity of hydration in my lips but also the effect from the lip gloss. Nevertheless, Dior Addict Lip Maximizer has been working well for my lips so far :).
