Lancôme Review > Eau Fraiche Douceur Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Extract

Published by Jasmine Seo

I'm not normally a person who tries different cleansing waters as I just like to stick to one as long as it does its job. However, a good friend of mine is a huge fan of Lancôme skincare, and she recommended me their Eau Fraiche Douceur Micellar Cleansing Water for me to try out. And I decided to make a post as I'm actually impressed :). Oh, one of the best part was that it comes in a convenient pump bottle so you don't need to worry about chipping your expensive nail art ;)

Scent & Consistency

Unlike some of those very drying water cleansers, despite the fact that they are often advertised as 'for sensitive skin', Lancôme cleansing water doesn't have that feel after wiping your face off, although it's still in a watery consistency. It does contain alcohol though, which I can even smell through, so I'm not sure how it will work for those with sensitive skin, considering the cleansing water also has floral fragrance.

Nevertheless, I've noticed that Lancôme micellar cleansing water somewhat softens skin right after wiping off my make-up. This is interesting because not many brands have such a pleasant finish that doesn't give skin an uncomfortable drying feel. It's nowhere as hydrating as La Prairie cleansing water, but it certainly works for my normal skin.

In a word, Lancôme Eau Fraiche Douceur Micellar Cleansing Water works beautifully. If you are looking for a cleansing water that you don't need to rub your skin much, then the Lancôme one will be perfect for you. I basically use 4 to 5 pumps on one cotton round, then press onto any stubborn make-up area including around the eyes for about 5 seconds before gently wiping off. And in one go, it takes off most of the make-up and sunscreen.
