Estée Lauder Review > Swiss Performing Extract (Alternative Sisley Ecological Compound/ Emulsion)

Estée Lauder Swiss Performing Extract has been around for a long time and it has been one of my grandmother's staple skincare products for years. As the age tells us, the scent of Estée Lauder Swiss Performing Extract emulsion can come as quite overpowering to those of you who are more used to subtle scents.

It smells of a mature floral scent, but I would say that the scent is on less of the powdery side compared to their original Re-Nutriv Creme. Nevertheless, if you are used to heavily scented products, then it won't be a problem, but if your skin is sensitive to fragrance, the emulsion may not be ideal for you.

Consistency

Estée Lauder Swiss Performing Extract has a very runny lightweight consistency that easily goes on to skin, leaving skin velvety smooth.

It also absorbs into skin fast and gives a beautiful glowy finish. Considering its lightweight texture, Estée Lauder Swiss Performing Extract moisturises skin very well even with a small amount.

Verdict / Tips

The best part is that I personally find the glow and hydration is very much buildable with Estée Lauder Swiss Performing Extract, so you can always begin with a small amount and gradually build up the level of moisturisation that you desire.

If you are someone who enjoys using highlighters and tinted moisturisers like me, you can also add a drop or two of your favourite liquid highlighter and/or a foundation into the emulsion to give a more polished forgiving look to skin. As you might have guessed, it works as a great glow make-up base for normal to dry skin.

I even tried Estée Lauder Swiss Performing Extract during hot Summer, and it didn't irritate my sun exposed skin and I also didn't get any breakouts during PMS. I wouldn't personally say that Estée Lauder Swiss Performing Extract is a Sisley Ecological Compound (Emulsion Ecologique) dupe as the usage and the potential long-term beneftis are different.

However, if you are on a budget, and you are in search of a basic versatile moisturiser, I would say that Estée Lauder Swiss Performing Extract can work as an alternative to Sisley Ecological Compound (Emulsion Ecologique) as they are both layerable and the texture is similar.
