Making of Androgynous look with Belstaff Shearling jacket

Published by Jasmine Seo

The temperature dropped pretty low last month, so I needed to bring out my Belstaff shearling jacket that I packed away when I organised my wardrobe since Summer was on the way -_-. By the way, if you are into biker jackets, Belstaff makes very nice ones, so you should check them out. I've owned mine for a few years now, but you will find similar designs every year or once every a few years. You can also get their clothes from Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf goodman.

And please excuse my hair XD. I played fetch with my baby Yuna very intensely, so I sweated a bit and my hair wasn't in the best condition :P.

Regardless, you might have noticed a subtle glow on my face even after 5 hours! :O
I've been using an intensive treatment Sisleÿa-Elixir by Sisley for a month (and I nearly finish it!) in replacement of my other serums. I will likely make a review post on it later, so keep an eye out for that ;). As I said earlier, it was pretty cold in the evening, so I needed to put an extra layer of hydrating cream by La Prairie and Sisley All Day All Year on top of the Sisley elixir. I reviewed the La Prairie hydrating cream, so if you are interested, go and have a read about it :). And for the eye area, just La Prairie hydrating eye cream since the area gets really dry during seasonal changes.

Since it was in the afternoon when I was playing with Yuna, I needed to put on some sunscreen. I mixed Chantecaille Ultra Sun Protection SPF 50 PA+++ with a few drops of an illuminator by By Terry, which is one of my favourite illuminators on the market.

Chantecaille sunscreen by itself already provides a subtle glow, but I wanted an ultra glow with a bit of brightness onto my skin, so I needed to use an illuminator! :P
And that's it for my base! No foundation or tinted moisturiser since my skin has been looking pretty good, so I only used a tiny bit of Shu Uemura concealer under my eyes just to cover some dark circles. Then I used some Chanel eyeliner in Shade 30 Marine very subtly and drew Kevyn Aucoin Lip pencil in shade Medium on my lips for definition and subtle fullness of lips. After, I applied Rouge Coco shine in shade Boy by Chanel on my lips, which perfectly matches my natural lip colour. It was really all about enhancing my look. No mascara, just a bit of curl with my eyelash curler. I also highlighted my eyebrows a bit with Benefit High Brow just to get that groomed eyebrows look.

One more thing, a spritz of my Amore Pacific hydrating mist throughout the afternoon and evening, which doesn't really dry out your skin but hydrates it a little without adding oil on your skin. It's one of my go to facial mists and my must-have during seasonal changes.

And that's all, simple as that XD. You can also achieve this look through the post that I've made previously on Androgynous look. So if you are interested, have a look! Ciao.
