Natura Bissé Review > Diamond White Oil-Free Brilliant Sun Protection SPF 50 PA+++ (Broad Spectrum CC Cream/ Tinted)

Published by Jasmine Seo

My sister's colleague is a huge believer in Natura Bissé Diamond White Oil-Free Brilliant Sun Protection Sun Protection SPF 50, and I was very much intrigued by her loyalty to the product as I haven't seen a case like that unless it's just a general idea/routine on suncare re-application which is my case.

Scent

The scent of Natura Bissé Diamond White Oil-Free Brilliant Sun Protection Sun Protection SPF 50 isn't overwhelming at all as there's just a very slight hue of floral scent to it. My nose doesn't really get much bothered unless I put the sunscreen underneath my eye area as that's normally when my eyes detect the hue :3. If you have super sensitive eyes, it may cause a little discomfort, but it hasn't given me any irritated watery eyes, so I would say that it has been working well for me.

Full Ingredients

Water (Aqua), Cyclopentasiloxane, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Zinc Oxide, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Glycerin, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid (Ensulizole), PEG-10 Dimethicone, Arginine, Stearic Acid, Aluminum Hydroxide, Lactobacillus/Punica Granatum Fruit Ferment Extract, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Bisabolol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glyceryl Linoleate, Glyceryl Linolenate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Diphenyl Dimethicone/Vinyl Diphenyl Dimethicone/Silsesquioxane Crosspolymer, Aluminum Stearate, Hexyl Laurate, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Isononyl Isononanoate, Dimethiconol, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Stearalkonium Hectorite, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Propylene Carbonate, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum), Lavandula Hybrida Oil, Linalool, Coumarin, Amyl Cinnamal, Alumina, Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499)

Consistency

I was a little surprised as Natura Bissé Diamond White Oil-Free Brilliant Sun Protection Sun Protection SPF 50 has a rather BB cream-like texture which tends to feel a little more dense and tacky than usual CC creams on the market.

Although the tint looks more neutral on the photos, there's more of a pink hue to the beige. I was initially hesitant to put it on my face as my skin tone doesn't normally go well with pink based ones. However, what a surprise!

It goes on very smooth for an oil-free suncare product, and it beautifully blends into skin. It does seem to adapt to my natural skin tone, and my skin looks more neutralised. There's certainly an instant brightening effect as expected from high percentage of mineral sun filtrates that the sunscreen has, but there's no chalkiness or awful white cast.

I would say that the finish of it is somewhere between BB and CC creams as it has the neat texture of BB creams, yet provides perfected, almost flawless skin. My skin feels velvety smooth and soft to touch, and my pores even look less visible and skin texture looks more even. It doesn't give a dewy glow, but there's a fresh radiance to it.

Benefits

Natura Bissé's CC Cream is a beauty treatment that combines the action of pomegranate extract, which helps even skin tone, with an extreme ability to protect against UVA/UVB rays. It also provides a subtle and adaptable touch of color, resulting in outstanding luminosity and skin that is velvety to the touch.

  • Next to DIAMOND WHITE SERUM, it is the perfect ally in the battle against the appearance of sun spots.
  • Your skin will be perfectly protected, with an even tone, thanks to the "melanin-like" pigments that adapt to each skin tone.
  • Pomegranate extract is responsible for clarifying skin tone and also blocks free radicals with its anti-oxidant power.
  • It is oil-free and paraben-free.

Extra Tips

  • This cream offers the maximum level of protection against the sun's rays, known as PA+++; it is the highest degree of protection recognized by the JCIA (Japan Cosmetic Industry Association).
  • With pigments that adapt to any skin tone and a pleasant texture, it is a perfect, sheer base makeup.
  • Despite being a morning cream, the extraordinary luminosity it delivers will also have you using it with evening makeup.

Verdict

All in all, I would regard Natura Bissé Diamond White Oil-Free Brilliant Sun Protection Sun Protection SPF 50 as one of the luxury suncare products on the market although it has been around for a while. I really love the combination of how it has a good mixture of chemical and mineral sun filtrates as it doesn't dry out my skin much considering the fact that it's in an oil-free formula. I still wouldn't say that it's comforting or hydrating, but there's less discomfort for what it is.

In terms of brightening benefits, there is some potential skin tone evening for long term usage along with frequent re-application throughout the day, but you won't get much solely out of the sunscreen. You will need to combine with brightening skincare for the best results as they work in synergy. Nevertheless, it works great as a sunscreen and I didn't get any uneven patches or sunburn, which matters the most to me.

If you have oily combination to normal skin and/or live in a hot and humid climate, you will definitely appreciate Natura Bissé Diamond White sunscreen more due to its texture and finish. It also seems to control sebum production throughout the day to a some degree, which is very nice as it keeps my skin looking more fresh and radiant.

However, if you are someone who's used to creamier and more nourishing formula like what La Prairie and Sisley tend to offer. Then you may want to mix one or two drops of face oil into Natura Bissé Diamond White sunscreen or use a nourishing base before sunscare application. Note that if you decide to directly add the oil into the sunscreen, you may get less SPF factor than what it says on the package.

Nevertheless, I don't see it as a big problem as we need to re-apply sunscreen every 2 hours or even before if we perspire. Natura Bissé Diamond White Oil-Free Brilliant Sun Protection Sun Protection SPF 50 PA+++ is a great one whether you are a make-up minimalist like me or someone who embraces a hint of polished look. I've seen only a few heavily mineral sun filtrate based products in luxury suncare market that actually gives such a nice even radiant canvas without looking too matte. Whether you use the product as a make-up primer or as a tinted skin enhancer for no make-up make-up days or even make-up free days, Natura Bissé Diamond White Oil-Free Brilliant Sun Protection Sun Protection SPF 50 will work well on most skin types.
