Omorovicza Review> Serums & Concentrates (Part 2 / 오모로비짜 세럼 & 콘센트레이트)

Published by Jasmine Seo

Also have a look at my previous post  OMOROVICZA > Part 1: Mist / Toner & Treatments!

Rose Lifting Serum

First of all, I should say that I adore the scent of this serum! It smells quite like their Queen of Hungary Mist, very rosy indeed. It is quite heavily fragranced, so beware if you are not a fan of heavily scented serums. It is a light serum that isn't watery, but it feels a bit rich once it sinks in, although there's no residue of any stickiness or greasiness (there is an immediate stickiness once massaged in, but it goes away after 30 seconds or so). However, it does feel much more hydrating and rich relative to their Gold Flash Firming Serum once applied.

A little bit goes a long way with this serum, and you need to massage it into your skin for a good few seconds until it gets fully absorbed. Once absorbed, I find that there's a tightening feeling on my skin, but it isn't too bad. I went through a few bottles, but I still haven't noticed any major long term lifting effects. As I said in one of my previous posts, you cannot really expect a 'botox-like' result from a serum, despite what Omorovicza says in their marketing XD LOL. Oh, and I did get little bizarre bumps on my cheeks whenever I used this serum...and it actually disappeared whenever I stopped using it...which was weird since I didn't get any bumps from the other Omorovicza serums.

Gold Flash Firming Serum

If you have oily or combination skin, or if you prefer a light yet potent serum, you might like this Gold Flash Firming Serum. This is one of my favourite daytime serums when my skin feels a bit greasier than normal. It is oil-free and has a slightly matte finish once absorbed. Due to this factor, it doesn't go on as smoothly as their Rose Lifting Serum when massaging in, but I don't notice any bumps on my skin after a long stressful day, so I am very happy with it :). I haven't seen any dramatic transformation on my skin, but it seems that it keeps breakouts at bay to some extent. I have noticed that this serum by itself is not enough for colder seasons, so you will need a hydrating serum or a hydrating moisturiser on the top. Speaking of a hydrating moisturiser, you need to be careful when choosing the right texture to layer over Omorovicza serums.

If you use moisturisers from Omorovicza, then you don't need to worry. However, if you plan to use a moisturiser from some other brand, then try to avoid gel and light emulsion-type moisturisers. Just stick to the creamier ones to avoid any hassle! :P This isn't limited just to this serum, but for all Omorovicza serums. And the same formula applies to sunscreens too! So bear it in mind when choosing moisturisers and sunscreens! :P.

Gold Night Drops

As you might have guessed, yes, I love GOLD haha XD I remember, I purchased Gold Night Drops because it contains gold. I am a massive fan of gold skincare products, so I definitely had high hopes for this concentrate.

Anyways, this serum smells very delicious! It smells like a delicately flower scented honey, and is light emulsion-like textured. Like Rose Lifting Serum, you need to massage it a bit into your skin until it gets fully absorbed. You really don't need much when you put it on and found that you don't need any extra hydrating serum on top. It's hydrating enough for me, so I just use it by itself during the warmer seasons.

Although it claims to be a powerful anti-aging treatment to contour and lift skin, I honestly didn't see any major difference besides the texture of my skin. So I ended up using it more as a night time anti-inflammatory hydrating, nourishing and renewal treatment to smooth my skin. Just to avoid any confusion, it isn't super hydrating but for my combination skin it's sufficiently hydrating :). I sometimes used it as my makeup base (oopsie >_< ), and surprise surprise, my foundation went on to my skin beautifully :P.

Radiance Renewal Serum

This is one of my top faves from Omorovicza! It has a very light watery consistency with very subtle scent. The fragrance isn't as strong as other serums from Omorovicza. If you want an ultra light serum, check out their Blue Diamond Concentrate. I'd say this Radiance Renewal Serum is the second lightest one in their serum range. I particularly enjoy using it in warmer seasons, but I still like to use it when I need an uplifting boost to make myself feel a bit better :). It is oil-free, so you don't need to worry about breakouts, which makes me repurchase it over and over XD.

Blue Diamond Concentrate

Perhaps because of its packaging, the bottle keeps me thinking it's a hydrating serum:P. (I'm very used to La Prairie hydrating serum and Guerlain Super Aqua serum)  I remember when I first got this, I was literally ordering it whilst trying the very first sample sachet of it! Yes, you can imagine how much I like this serum. This is my by far my favourite product from Omorovicza along with their cleansing balm and deep cleansing mask.

A very liquid like texture, spreads easily yet fast absorbing, leaving skin instantly matte, tightened and feeling lifted. I'm not quite sure about hydration though. As having a sensitive, normal to dry skin most of the year, I needed to layer hydrating cream or serum on top of this. It didn't irritate my skin, which is another bonus, but it wasn't a go to solution for calming sore or sensitive skin either. It just helped with healing, not too fast, not too slow, just a moderate degree from my experience. To be honest, their Gold Night Drop is much more nurturing and hydrating than this. I felt that it's not heavily fragranced like other Omorovicza serums. It smells very refreshing just like its texture and the feel of it on skin :).

Repurchase? Indefinitely! <3
