There isn't much or an artificial or essential oil scent coming through with Själ Pearl Enzyme Exfoliating Mask, just a refreshing hue, but I cannot tell exactly what it is. One certain fact is that the scent is similar to other products in the Själ skincare line. It does smell different in a positive way, and I personally like the scent as it's unique and not overpowering at all.
Själ Pearl Enzyme Exfoliating Mask is in a more water-like infused gel cream consistency, which feels very lightweight. As you need to use damp skin, you don't really need much amount per application.
It goes on to skin very easily, which feels very nice and refreshing, but those crushed fine pearl fragments can still feel a bit aggressive to those with fragile/ sensitive skin.
Regardless, the mask is still on the gentle side without any tingling sensation, as long as you don't rub it in. When the mask dries, there's a firming / tightening sensation, and it leaves skin more brightened, clear and baby bum soft and smooth.

HOW TO USE
Gently exfoliate skin avoiding the eye area. May be used solely as an enzymatic mask (if preferred). Leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. May use a warm towel to help remove. Follow with Kashmir Saphir perfecting mask for a mini-facial to instantly recharge dull and sallow skin.
I would personally think that Själ Pearl Enzyme Exfoliating Mask is more than just an exfoliating treatment. It has that mud mask treatment effect without drying out skin, which balances skin and somewhat takes away unwanted sebum. After rinsing off the mask, my skin feels very neat and just right without any dryness or uncomfortable tightness in my skin.
As it's enzyme based, the mask reveals luminosity in skin to a certain degree. Indeed, my skin looks visibly brighter and clearer that it almost brings a post-oxygenating treatment effect. Själ Pearl Enzyme Exfoliating Mask certainly enhances all the efficacy of the following skincare products that you put on, and I've also found that the toner and serum absorbs into skin way better. Själ Pearl Enzyme Exfoliating Mask may not be the most gentle exfoliator solely due to the crushed pearl on the market, but it is indeed one of the best multi-functional resurfacing mask that brings fool-proof results.
