Swiss Perfection Review > Cellular Perfect Lift Serum

Published by Jasmine Seo

I've been using Swiss Perfection Cellular Perfect Lift Serum for about 5 years now. I still remember the time when I totally fell in love with its sleek silver bottle and its unique one of a kind pipette :) Oh my, time flies! :O. Although it's no longer my regular serum that I use on a daily basis, it's still my go to serum for my lazy days.

Scent & Consistency

The scent of Cellular Perfect Lift Serum is quite uplifting and sweet citrusy. I personally like the scent, but some people might not like it as it isn't typically rosey or perfumey. My man thinks that it smells rather like a sweet alcohol XD. Whenever I use it, it always reminds me of Australia and sun simply because I find it quite summery :3. Well, I have a good excuse to enjoy the serum as we don't get much sun here in WA :(.

Speaking of Summer, even the texture is very hot weather friendly too!:P. It isn't too runny, but it's one of the fast-absorbing lightweight gel serums on the luxury skincare brands.

There's no sticky or oily residue, which may surprise some of you as the majority of in-store lifting products tend to still be quite rich and nourishing. It spreads easily and sets into skin very fast just like other Swiss Perfection products.

Having said that, it almost forms a very fine film on top of skin so I wouldn't recommend using any product with a similar film forming texture including a face oil as it can peel off the expensive serum. I also wouldn't rub or massage it in for the same reason. Regardless, it's a nice serum to use if you want that no product on my face feel, and that's how light it is :).

Benefits

Cellular Perfect Lift Serum has been designed to provide an intensive answer to wrinkles, skin sagging and loss of firmness. Cellular Perfect Lift Serum combines a high concentration of Collagen Synthesis-Stimulating Peptide, which has the ability to smooth away wrinkles and restore firmness and moisture by mimicking the physiological mechanism to produce collagen, with the Skin Tightening Agent for an instant redefined micro-relief. The skin is smooth, firm, naturally lifted.

Apply every morning and evening, pressing slowly into skin.

Effectiveness

It's true that Cellular Perfect Lift Serum used to be one of my favourite serums when I was living in Australia where the weather can get very hot and humid. As years passed by, my skin has become rather dehydrated, so I find it not enough for colder seasons here in Washington state. So I've been using the serum mainly in Summer and on the days when I need some help from the scent to lift my mood a bit in the morning.

There's an instant very subtle lifting and firming effect that my skin can feel, but it isn't dramatically noticeable. For long term, you can expect your jawline to look a bit more defined, but not so much for mid face area including cheeks based on my experience. In spite of the fact that it's a nice lifting serum for oily to combination skin, but it isn't something that I wouldn't live without. The price tag of Cellular Perfect Lift Serum (CHF 430) is about the same as La Prairie Skin Caviar Concentre, but I feel that La Prairie one seems to deliver better glow, hydration and rejuvenation overall.
