I have been thoroughly enjoying La Mer The Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20, so I thought I would give it a try with their tinted moisturiser, The Reparative SkinTint Broad Spectrum SPF 30 as I go to off-leash dog parks frequently. I'm not sure if everyone else feels this way too, but I'm prone to get a bit lazy when I get ready to take my Yuna and Yena to the dog park, so having a good tinted moisturiser is essential for me😎.
Scent & Consistency
La Mer The Reparative SkinTint Broad Spectrum SPF 30 has a La Mer's signature soothing hue, which I personally find quite therapeutic and healing. It also has a creamy emulsion consistency that goes onto skin light yet smooth.
It instantly softens the look of skin, and gives a dewy glow.
It's more like an oil infused velvety supple finish without being overly greasy or creamy.

Verdict
La Mer The Reparative SkinTint Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is perfect if you are looking for something to even out skin tone with light coverage. The finish is natural that adds just a bit of warmth to your skin. Though it's a tinted moisturiser, I've noticed that it gives quite a long-lasting result in terms of hydration and the look of skin throughout the day. I haven't experienced unusual excessive sebum production in my T-zone area with La Mer The Reparative SkinTint Broad Spectrum SPF 30 even in 28 degrees celsius during hot summer.
I've only noticed that my nose area got a bit shiny after 3-4 hours, then T-zone after 5-6 hours had passed by. Even then, I didn't need any touch-up as the tinted moisturiser didn't melt, ie. the shine was from my natural oil production in my skin and daily activities. Having said that, I personally found La Mer The Reparative SkinTint Broad Spectrum SPF 30 a bit pinky although it still blends well into my yellow toned skin.
I've been using it around my eyes too, and I don't need any concealer afterwards as I don't have much under eye dark circle issues anyway. The tinted moisturiser works well for my natural look, and it does keep my make-up routine very simple. I would only use a concealer if I get a spot from my monthly or didn't get enough sleep a night before. Regardless, it's nice to have a tinted moisturiser that doesn't irritate my sensitive eye area.
As the weather has gotten quite cold, I've been mixing a drop of my go to Kahina Giving Beauty Prickly Pear Seed Oil into La Mer The Reparative SkinTint Broad Spectrum SPF 30, and it has been giving just enough hydration without making my skin look too oily. Indeed, this has become my go-to dog mum look 😎🤣(Proud Border Collie Mum). Just for a reference, I'm in between 30 and 40 for Chanel foundations, 250 Sand in La Mer The Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation, and Warm Beige in La Prairie Skin Caviar Concealer Foundation.
