Although Lancôme cleansers may not be that gentle and natural in terms of the ingredients, my friends and I have always found that their cleansers very effective with taking off daily make-up. I know, companies like to test their cleansers on their make-up products most of the times, but Lancôme cleansers work very effectively on the majority of make-up products on the market. Of course, there may be some differences depending on waterproof formula, but their cleansers have been foolproof for me. Keeping that in mind, let's start my review on Lancôme Crème Radiance Gentle Cleansing Cream-to-Foam :).
Benefits
A Luxurious Balance of Science and Nature: Reveal Purified, Pampered Skin.
This gentle cream-to-foam cleanser with antioxidant White Lotus and soothing Rose de France penetrates deep into the pores without over-drying to gently remove makeup, even waterproof, dissolve impurities and purify the skin.
Massage over wet face and throat. Rinse with lukewarm water. Follow with Tonique Radiance for clarified and luminous skin.
Dermatologist and ophthalmologist-tested for safety.
Scent & Consistency
Crème Radiance Gentle Cleansing Foam feels creamier than a lot of other cleansing foams market, but it still isn't yet as creamy compared to some of other luxury skincare brands.
As the cleansing foam is designed specifically for normal to combination skin, it leaves a clean feeling without stripping skin. Having said that, it cleanses perhaps too well that I wouldn't follow with any other extra cleansing products as it would be too much for skin in the long run. I wouldn't even use it with my Clarisonic cleansing device as I find it a little more drying once I rinse everything off due to my normal dehydrated skin. Its floral scent never irritated my skin, but I still wouldn't use around my eye area as it's just way too much.
Full Ingredients
AQUA / WATER / EAU, SORBITOL, GLYCERIN, SODIUM COCOYL GLYCINATE, PEG-8, HEXYLENE GLYCOL, POTASSIUM LAURATE, POTASSIUM MYRISTATE, ANANAS SATIVUS FRUIT EXTRACT / PINEAPPLE FRUIT EXTRACT, PHENOXYETHANOL, PEG-32, TRIETHANOLAMINE, LIMONENE, LINALOOL, BENZYL SALICYLATE, PROPANEDIOL, PAPAIN, DISODIUM EDTA, METHYLPARABEN, PARFUM / FRAGRANCE
Effectiveness
Without any device, just with lots of foam, it cleanses all the long-lasting suncare and make-up products very well. It also foams very easily, so you actually won't need much at all. I personally like to use Sisley Gentle Brush as I like to use it over my Clarisonic. As I've mentioned earlier, I still wouldn't use the cleansing foam to take off my eye and lip make-up although it's clearly very effective judging from the photos. I'd rather recommend their cleansing water or eye and lip make-up remover for that purpose.
Although it says 'gentle' on the tube, the ingredients may not be very gentle for those with sensitive skin. It isn't free of PEG's, parabens, fragrance and other skin allergens, so if you happen to have sensitive combination/normal skin, I wouldn't recommend the cleanser.
