Redmond Restaurant Review > Matts' Rotisserie & Oyster Lounge at Redmond Town Center

I hope every one of you had a great Thanksgiving! :) It's Black Friday here in the States, so everyone around me seems to feel very festive already as the real holiday season's coming. I actually like it even more this year as today's actually a very special day for my man and I :3. My darling man made a reservation for our dinner at Matts' Rotisserie & Oyster Lounge located at Redmond Town Center as it's one of the few places that I love in WA :O.

Although my man isn't a massive seafood fan like I am, he still likes to take me there as he knows that they can serve me food that I will enjoy :P. We got a booth to sit side by side and ordered Seafood Chowder as usual. It isn't too thick, smelly or salty, which is why we've been ordering every time we go.

They also serve freshly cut bread with some butter and olive oil, but I like to have it with Seafood Chowder as the bread goes well with it.

For the main dishes, we decided to try something from this month's special menu although November is almost gone :3. My man got the Braised Lamb Shank, and it turned out to be a huge feast. The meat was very tender and he enjoyed the balance in the dish. If you are a big diner, you should try it for sure! :D

Braised Lamb Shank

Goat cheese polenta, lamb demi glace, apple pecan gremolata

I ordered basically a grilled salmon with mashed potato, the salmon was cooked very nicely. It wasn't soggy or salty at all, which I've been underwhelmed by quite lots of restaurants in WA by far. The salmon wasn't smelly and there was a perfect balance with other side dishes that came with. It went well with La Crema the white wine that I've also got, so I clearly enjoyed the dining.

Applewood Grilled Wild Alaskan Coho Salmon

Pear vinaigrette, Yukon gold smashers, pears & crispy proscuitto garnish

Oh, my man got this delicious cocktail Flatliner, and I would actually go to the restaurant again casually just for that, haha >_<. If you love chocolate and coffee, you will love the drink :3. It isn't too sweet, it has a nice balance. We didn't get any other desert as we were too full even to have some water. Whether you are looking for a restaurant for a special occasion or a regular dining, you should definitely take Matts' Rotisserie & Oyster Lounge into account ;).
