I don't know about your personal preference, but I have been intentionally avoiding wearing sandals over summer for the last few years. I know it sounds quite weird, but I've noticed that skin around my feet gets quite dehydrated, so I have been minimising sun exposure to my feet. As an alternative to sandals, I've been enjoying espadrilles as fully covered feet don't feel that fun in summer XD. And here are some of the espadrilles that I found this year :).
Charlotte Olympia - Capri Cats
If you are a flat shoes type person, you will love Charlotte Olympia Capri Cats espadrilles as they look just like flat shoes but with S/S details and lighter canvas texture :). Having said that, the sole is the same sole that they use for their flat shoes, so you should be careful when you walk on a slippery area regardless of how durable the sole is XD. Other than that, they are just a very cute pair with comfort :)
Salvatore Ferragamo - Galaxy
Are you a girly bow person? Then, there's no way for you not to love a cute pair from Salvatore Ferragamo. As I always check practicability, I find those Galaxy espadrilles very sturdy yet comfortable.
I actually quite appreciate the fact that the company focused more on little details that other big companies have sort of missed, including the design and even the sole by itself.
Oscar de La Renta - Adriana
For all the understated ballerina type shoes lovers! :) Oscar de La Renta Adriana espadrilles do feel like a cheerful girly version of elegant Oscar de La Renta. The pair is pretty wide, so you probably want to try them out at the shop first before purchasing. I personally don't like shoes made with suede as I don't like things get stretched or messy. However, I really love the fact that they finished the espadrilles with patented leather which will prevent the leather to get overstretched.
Love Moschino - Bow
Love Moschino Bow espadrilles has a very young cheerful sporty feel to its design as their target age group is young. Although I don't consider myself that young, but hey, summer weather makes me feel very cheerful and outgoing, so I have an excuse to enjoy them a bit, right XD.
The fit is the problem though. They are such a cute pair, yet they aren't made for walking for more than a few hours O_O. Yep.. The fit is quite awkward and the sole is very hard that the pair will make your feet tired in the middle of the day.
