Just after I got my Joules Dog Print Hooded Poncho, my addiction to cute dog prints got me to get another one from Joules, which was this time lightweight raincoat :3. The dog prints are different on the raincoat, and I found them more colourful than the poncho.
It's very well-structured, and I love the fact that the zipper works very smooth that it doesn't feel cheap. The hood is also adjustable, so you can just tighten it up when it gets windy.
I'm 170cm tall, and usually wear Small for jackets and coats due to my long arms and potential several layering underneath. For Joules raincoat, I got US size 2 as I will be wearing this mostly in Spring and Autumn when I don't normally layer clothes much underneath. I was a little concerned about the arms, but the raincoat fits perfectly, the size is roomy enough that I can wear my long sleeve shirt, fleece vest and another cotton hoodie O_O. And I can still move freely for playing with my dogs and gardening.
I don't normally look forward to rainy seasons due to the common weather nature here in WA, but I've been very much waiting for rainy days this season ever since I got Joules Dog Print Raincoat as I want to show off at the dog parks when we go out with Yuna and Yena :3 Haha, yes, I'm one of those proud dog mums >_< Hehe
I wouldn't say that this will work the best for very heavy storms, but it's a great one to keep even in the car for light to normal rainy days as it's very lightweight. It's a great addition to my raincoat closet anyways :). They also have a kid's version, so if you have a child, you can match raincoats too!
