VI Peel Review > Day 6 & 7 & Skin care regime ( ft. Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin range, kō Denmark, Sisley & EGF Mask )

Published by Jasmine Seo

Day 6 (Peak)

In the morning

VI Peel

Forehead area is finally peeling. Stopped itching

In the afternoon

Neck and chest areas started to peel.

In the evening

VI Peel

As ⅔ of my face has peeled, my skin has been feeling a bit dry and dehydrated.

Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Oil Balm stung less this morning, but about the same as Day 4, minor stinging. However, the stinging feeling was gone in the evening when I was putting it on my skin after freshly washing my face. As most parts of my face have peeled, I started getting some dryness here and there, so I have been putting on an extra layer of the oil balm throughout the day.

Day 7

Feeling dehydrated and tight, but my face feels very soft!

My facial lines (eg. smile lines and in between eyebrows) seem a bit smoother, but no major improvement. Brighter complexion. Skin’s glowing. Not sure about lifting, but firmness has been increased.

In the morning

Skin looks radiant and plumper. Hairline area just needs to be clear up. Neck area keeps peeling.

In the afternoon

Face is clear. Neck is itchy on and off. The redness on my neck is spreading.

In the evening

VI Peel

Major peeling and redness around my neck and chest.

Because my face feels fine mostly (no itchiness, no redness, no peeling), I was tempted to use my La Prairie Swiss Cellular White Illuminating Mask. But since it’s only day 7, so I used the Natural Beauty EGF Essence Full Face Mask that I got from Amazon earlier instead. Then I followed with kō Denmark Rosehip & Evening Primrose Serum (full ingredients), Sisley Sisleÿa Eye and Lip Contour Cream and Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Oil Balm (full review) on my neck and chest. I also went back to using Sisley Floral Spray Mist (full review) throughout the day.

Sisley skincare

As for the Natural Beauty EGF Essence Full Face Mask, it was surprisingly hydrating and calming considering the price. The fit may not be the best, but it doesn’t move around, so you can do other things while it’s on your face. After taking it off, my skin was left very smooth and hydrated. I wouldn’t say it equivalent to an intense hydrating treatment like Guerlain Super Aqua Sheet Mask (full review), but it’s far more hydrating than the gel masks on the market. I highly recommend you try it out!
