As much as I love Guerlain Orchidée Impériale Eye and Lip Contour Cream and their Orchidée Impériale Longevity Concentrate, I've been especially enjoying their Orchidée Impériale Eye Serum over the past few years since it was launched. There isn't any instantly noticeable effect such as lifting or brightening, but it does seem to share a similar trait with their Orchidée Impériale Longevity Concentrate and Orchidée Impériale White The Age-Defying & Brightening Serum in terms of the result delivery process; gradual enhancement.
Scent & Consistency
There isn't any recognisable scent, and it never irritated my family's sensitive eyes. The consistency of the eye serum is very akin to their Super Aqua-Eye Serum, but I would say that the Orchidée Impériale one feels a little more dense.
Nevertheless, the emulsion formula applies very smoothly onto skin and relieves dehydration and dryness effectively.
Benefits
The Eye Serum draws on the expertise of Orchidée Impériale to endow the eyes with infinite radiance and a lastingly youthful appearance. At the heart of the formula lies Gold Orchid Technology, with global age-defying action, which works in synergy with the Bright-Eye Complex to reveal extraordinary brightness.

Verdict
Just like their face serums, I love the eye serum as it's very versatile. If you are looking for an eye serum for the daytime due to your make-up routine, then you could use it alone without drying the delicate eye area out. It doesn't leave any heavy oily residue behind but only subtle balance in hydration, so I found that my concealer goes on smoothly. Having said that, the eye serum isn't an eye make-up base, so the eye make-up longevity can be compromised depending on how oily your eye area gets throughout the day. I've been thoroughly enjoying it especially over Summer as I personally like to keep it simple for my eyes, just not too light since my eye area gets dehydrated and dried very easily.
Guerlain Orchidée Impériale Eye Serum will definitely be a good fit if have found the majority of eye serums on the market being too light. Although it works pretty good just by itself, I suggest you to pair it with their Orchidée Impériale Eye & Lip Contour Cream or even any eye creams that you may have to maximise the full effect. When I use those eye serum and eye cream together a night before going to bed, my under eye area looks plump and rejuvenated even on the days when I don't feel well. And they work in synergy to firm the delicate area although I didn't see much results for the dark circles. Dark circles and puffiness is mostly related to your genes and the state of your health and diet as a reflection of your lifestyle, so I wouldn't 100% rely on over-the-counter products anyways. Overall, Orchidée Impériale Eye Serum works well as a regenerating eye treatment, and I must mention that I love their pump packaging as it gives so much control over the amount that you want to use. It spreads well, so a little amount goes a long way :).
