I can really feel that Spring is here again as Nordstrom is holding a Beauty Trend Show :). My man got the tickets through the La Prairie counter last week for us, which was very sweet. As the Beauty Trend Show happens from 8 am, we woke up early and headed to Bellevue Square.

Although it's almost April, it's still quite chilly in WA, so I decided to wear my Belstaff biker jacket. I didn't want to look too harsh, so I added a bit of a feminine touch by matching with my Ben-Amun silver pearl necklace with Swarovski crystals that I got this month. I already own a long pearl necklace by Chanel, but the Ben-Amun one looked very pretty and I especially liked the colour of the faux pearls that I just had to get it :3. As for the ring, I wore an Eddie Borgo silver ring.
It felt quite weird to be at the empty mall at 7:30 am, but I was also enjoying the beauty of silence with my morning caffeine and sugar :P.
We got free sample bags at the entrance as usual, then we went upstairs to get some tea and grab a seat. It's always nice to see fellow beauty lovers as I also enjoy checking their make-up and most importantly their skin condition of the day :P.
After the show, we picked up our $20 redeemable voucher, then went for a bit of window shopping before getting our facials done at La Prairie.
Or more specifically, trying virtual reality at the Microsoft store XD.
It was very nice to have a bit of time to relax and get pampered in the spa room as it was so crowded on the floor :).
After the Platinum Rare facial, I went downstairs to the counter to get my make-up done as usual. I don't normally ask which look that I'm up to, but I requested for a neutral look with a slight feminine touch.
And here is what I got! Oh my, it's always easy to spend one Chanel wallet worth of money at La Prairie counter. Oh well, but I think it's well worth it as I get superb service and their products have been working well on my skin for the past 10 years :).
