Personally, Winter has always been a detox season for me simply because I feel more festive and I like to stay inside rather than doing other activities. It's a lot worse here than in Australia as it rains most of the time that I don't feel very motivated either other than taking my dogs out for a walk. Naturally, my face gets puffy easily and my skin looks rather dull, which is something that I don't like about Winter >:-(. So I thought I would try Natura Bissé The Cure Cream as its key function is to detoxify skin. Let's see how it turned out :).
Scent & Consistency
The Cure Cream has a light floral scent, which I find more pleasant than some of their other products. The company says it's an emulsion, but I wouldn't call it emulsion as it's thicker than most of the emulsions on the market. I was a little hesitant at the beginning since there have been some products containing shea butter that broke out my skin in the past. However, the texture is quite lightweight compared to other moisturisers with shea butter and also compared to other luxury skincare brands.
It's lighter than a cream, but denser than an emulsion. It goes on very smooth and leaves skin feeling supple rather than over hydrated. There's no rich or oily residue on skin so I never had a problem putting on make-up on top. I would say that it gives a finish and hydrating effect similar to Atopalm Intensive Moisturizing Cream.
Benefits
Innovative multiple-action emulsion that intensely hydrates, repairs and detoxifies skin with the first application. A complete "Beauty Cure" that keeps skin hydrated for 24 hours, reinforcing it against daily stress and preventing the premature appearance of the signs of aging. It offers a pleasant "second skin" sensation that melts into your skin, fading wrinkles and expression lines, restoring luminosity and increasing skin's firmness and elasticity. Skin feels more velvety, smooth and soft.

Effectiveness
For the first few days, I've noticed that my skin was breaking out here and there on my face. As my skin didn't particularly feel itchy, I assumed that it was taking built-up toxins out of my skin. I had to put a leap of faith in the product as I've already started seeing pretty good results in just two days :O. Upon waking up, my skin felt soft and smooth in texture, and most importantly, my skin looked brighter and had that sound sleep effect :3.
Although I haven't seen much of a firming or lifting even after a few weeks, I give it a good thumbs up for its detoxifying result. Well-rested skin is especially important in winter not just because it's directly related to the outcome of the make-up that you put on, but also because we are building toxins in our body from unhealthy diet and poor blood circulation, which leads to dull skin and breakouts. It's possible that I may have seen fast results as I've been having a cup of detox tea daily and also I've been using it with IOPE Bio Essence Intensive Conditioning.
Healthy cells are key for cell longevity, and I see their approach in anti-aging skincare. Natura Bissé The Cure Cream seems to be a good investment if you are under constant stress and an irregular lifestyle. For the best efficacy, I also recommend you incorporate a detox routine whether it's for a weekend or for a month not just for your health but for the health of your skin too! :).
Having said that, for those with oily/problem prone skin, the cream may not be the best as it contains ingredients like shea butter, urea and mango seed butter. If you happen to have any sensitivity to parabens and fragrance, then you might want to avoid using it as well. Other than that, Natura Bissé The Cure Cream will be a good all year round moisturiser :). Oh, by the way, if you like to use it with a few drops of face oil in the cream, I suggest you to try out Olie Biologique Argan Oil as it has been my skin saviour this winter :).
