Omorovicza Review > Illuminating Moisturiser

Published by Jasmine Seo

I have been using Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturiser on and off for almost a decade, and if you are looking for a moisturiser that brings an instant glow to skin without sparkles or artificial colourants, you are in the right place😉.

Scent & Consistency

Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturiser has a pleasant sweet floral scent, I find it quite feminine and elegant.

It has a creamy dense emulsion texture that goes on smooth and spreads readily on to skin.

I would say that it has a very indulgent and luxurious feel to it, comparing to other cream/emulsion hybrid moisturisers on the market.

Upon application, it brings a dewy glow and luminosity to skin, which looks more like a glow from within. The finish is interesting, because it does have a slightly oil infused satiny finish, yet it doesn't feel too sticky.

Benefits

For dry or normal skin in need of sustained hydration throughout the day, this cream illuminates and nourishes. Ruby crystals ingeniously flatter the complexion by blurring the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

  • Ruby Crystal minimises the appearance of fine lines and imperfections.
  • Apple Pectin & Plum Almond Oil deliver long-lasting hydration and suppleness.
  • Omorovicza’s Patented Healing Concentrate™ leaves skin firmer, suppler and more youthful in appearance.
  • Vegan/ Vegetarian/ Gluten & Phthalate free

Verdict

I cannot deny the fact that Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturiser has been one of my go to products when I want that no makeup look with very minimal makeup (ie. just my under eye concealer, cream blusher and tinted lip balm). It's not that it holds the equivalent longevity as a makeup base, but it just gives me that natural look as if I'm not wearing any, but keeps my skin looking luminous and shines the extent of my caring for my skin through.

Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturiser nourishes and moisturises skin upon application at least for my normal skin, but I feel that those with dry skin will still need some face oil mixed into the moisturiser as that's what I've been doing during Winter. It doesn't provide much intense hydration by itself although it still works better than the majority of hydrating moisturisers out there, but I expect a bit more from the price tag.  For those with very dehydrated skin, you will need to layer a hydrating serum underneath unless dehydration is of a mild to moderate degree.

Nevertheless, I still find Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturiser a good enhanced version of moisturiser and glow primer in one. Over the past years, it hasn't given my skin any kinds of irritation even during my period. This means that I have been using it a lot more when I'm on my cycle as I do need that radiance oomph to my skin as my skin tends to look dull during that time😋. If you like to customise your own tinted moisturiser like me, you can certainly also have some fun with Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturiser with a bit of concealer or foundation mixed in. Overall, Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturiser is a good all year round versatile moisturiser.
