Restaurant Review > Ippudo Sydney Westfield

Published by Daniel

While in Sydney I couldn't help but eat at Ippudo which I visited while in Tokyo last year. If you're not familiar, Ippudo is a famous Ramen Restaurant chain from Japan that has spread around the world. Just recently they've opened locations in San Francisco and Berkley.

I visited twice and snapped some shots of the food of the people I was dining with as well.

Shiromaru Motoaji

This is their standard ramen, it's a good place to start if you're not too familiar with the different types. It's just all round good.

Tori Shoyu

The Tori Shoyu is apparently as Sydney exclusive. This one's quite a fishy broth due to the bonito dashi.

Seasoning

Here's the seasoning they have available, from left to right; soy sauce, chilli oil, pepper, seasame seeds.

Verdict

Simply put, I love this place. I loved it so much I went twice in my short time in Sydney. The flavours are so perfectly balanced and it's definitely the best ramen I've eaten outside of Japan.
