As most of you might know, I tend to be more interested in lifting serums, Sisley Sisleÿa l’Intégral Anti-Âge Anti-Wrinkle Concentrated Serum is probably the only 'anti-wrinkle' serum that I had my eye on ever since its renewal. It may be because I wasn't very impressed with their serum before renewal, and I guess it kind of triggered my curiosity how the new version would be different from the old one. Above all, I was most intrigued by the whole concept revolving around their Sisleÿa range, which includes behavioural aging, so I had to try Sisley Sisleÿa l’Intégral Anti-Âge Anti-Wrinkle Concentrated Serum.

Scent & Consistency

As Sisley Sisleÿa l’Intégral Anti-Âge Anti-Wrinkle Concentrated Serum has a fast absorbing gel texture, it comes in a convenient pump bottle. There's isn't much of a strong alcohol feel or scent, and it doesn't smell of potent essential oils.

I'm very sensitive to different scents, but Sisley Sisleÿa l’Intégral Anti-Âge Anti-Wrinkle Concentrated Serum never irritated my skin nor has it given me any kind of headache. I find the scent quite soothing and calming, and I love the fact that it gives a semi-matte smooth finish without creating a veil on top.

Verdict

I should mention that the consistency of Sisley Sisleÿa l’Intégral Anti-Âge Anti-Wrinkle Concentrated Serum is a true advantage to most skin types as it gives just the right amount of hydration, allowing other skincare products to be layered on top and/or underneath. I wouldn't say that it provides super charged hydration like Sisley Hydra-Global or Sisley Ecological Compound (Emulsion Ecologique), but if you have oily or oily/combination skin, Sisley Sisleÿa l’Intégral Anti-Âge Anti-Wrinkle Concentrated Serum will work better for your skin.

Unlike their all-in-one night-time treatment Sisley Supremÿa at Night, Sisley Sisleÿa l’Intégral Anti-Âge Anti-Wrinkle Concentrated Serum is best paired with their Sisleÿa L'Integral moisturiser in the same range to get comparable results including the overall longevity of hydration.

Although Sisley Sisleÿa l’Intégral Anti-Âge Anti-Wrinkle Concentrated Serum isn't categorised as a firming serum, I've noticed that my skin looks and feels firmer and it seems to help greatly with skin turnover too. I had some marks on my cheeks from enjoying pizza too much over my cycle at one point last month, so I had some of those small fresh pimple scars here and there. And surprisingly, it helped healing pretty fast and I don't need to pile on my concealer anymore, which is very nice.

Having said that, it doesn't work like a magic in a bottle in terms of deep wrinkle improvement especially for my smile lines, which I sort of expected as it isn't an actual filler that you get at a dermatologist. Sisley Sisleÿa l’Intégral Anti-Âge Anti-Wrinkle Concentrated Serum still works wonders for other parts though as I've got positive results for my forehead area along with around my mouth and eyes. You are not meant to use it around the eyes, but I just tested it out to see how it would go. I didn't go too close to my actual eyes though, just a small dab here and there.

Sisley Sisleÿa l’Intégral Anti-Âge Anti-Wrinkle Concentrated Serum seems to work well for smoothing skin texture without compensating any hydrating or firming benefits.
