I've been using Chanel products on a regular basis over a decade now, and I'm very pleased to give an update on their very first product for sensitive skin, La Solution 10 de Chanel. I've been using it on and off for over a year in different skin sensitising settings, and here are some tips and outcomes that you could expect from the cream :).
Scent & Ingredients
As you can tell from the full ingredients above, La Solution 10 de Chanel cream is the only artificial fragrance-free product offered by Chanel. It smells of nothing, but it isn't anything bad at all. I would say that the scent by itself is plain and neutral that doesn't make you feel sick if you are sensitive to smell like me. I have even tried using it around my delicate eye and lip area, and it didn't cause itchiness or any other irritations.

Verdict
Best face moisturiser for sensitive skin?
Initially, I didn't expect much from La Solution 10 de Chanel in terms of the consistency simply because of my previous experiences with those moisturisers from the majority of brands specifically designed for sensitive skin on the market. However, I'm pleasantly surprised how delicate and smooth it feels on skin, compared to other simple moisturisers that you can find easily in drugstores. I'd say that the texture is in between emulsion and cream, but it's soft and lightweight in density.
There isn't strong alcohol presence, so skin feels supple and smooth upon application with subtle hydration. To be honest, it's my favourite kind of consistency for a moisturiser as it gives no overly oily, shiny or sticky finish.
For my normal skin, La Solution 10 de Chanel comforts sufficienty for Spring and Summer when the air isn't dry in general. Having said that, I need to incorporate a face oil into my skincare regime when my skin tends to feel drier in Autumn and Winter. If you have dehydrated skin, by any chance, then it's best to add a hydrating serum and/or boosting essence underneath for longevity.
Nevertheless, I've found that La Solution 10 de Chanel works great as a make-up base and is also compatible with different kinds of sunscreens as it doesn't smear. If you are someone who enjoys a bit of alchemy with different skincare products, you would enjoy La Solution 10 de Chanel even more as it's very blendable with other products including and not limited to foundation, oil and Retin-A (tretinoin). I haven't found La Solution 10 de Chanel pore clogging even during my cycle, but it still has shea butter in it, so it will be worthwhile to check if your skin is generally fine with shea butter before purchase.
