This is an extension to my previous individual posts on Sisley Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age Extra-Rich cream and Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age cream, so please refer to those if you are interested in finding out more about those products. If you have oily/problem-prone skin though, your skin may not quite be compatible with any of those creams as they contain emollients including shea butter and some potential skin allergens. And for those who are pregnant or nursing, I strongly suggest you to test before purchasing as you never know whether the natural scent might work well for you or not as you may have become more sensitive to scents.
Having said that, both Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age Extra-Rich cream and Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age cream will work wonderfully especially if you have been going through menopause, and have been getting hot flashes (hot flushes). They give a second skin-like finish that won't make your skin feel uncomfortable even after excessive sweating. My mother who just turned 60 still struggles with hot flashes even during Winter although she's way over her menopause, and she found those creams to work particularly great as the finish doesn't put an overly rich or heavy veil onto skin which is commonly found in luxury skincare anti-aging products on the market.

Quite often, when the label has extra rich in it, my brain tells me to stay away from it as it gives an impression as if it will be heavy and oily. However, it isn't a big concern when it comes to Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age Extra-Rich cream, because even my normal skin hasn't found it that heavy or rich at all, but only comforting and nourishing at just the right level during seasonal changes. This doesn't mean that those people with dry skin shouldn't be using Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age cream, because there are still ways to enjoy the cream according to your needs if you prefer the texture of the lighter version to the extra rich one. You could either add a few drops of face oil of your choice to the cream to make it more emollient, otherwise you could simply layer the face oil after putting on a cream to give your skin a more protective veil. You could also layer additional face oil on top of Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age Extra-Rich cream if your skin is very dry. Here are some of the face oils that I recommend using together with those moisturisers;
In terms of hydration, it's indeed a shame that those moisturisers don't provide much deep hydration, but you could layer some boosting essence in lotions underneath to get some extra support. And those first essences tend to be much more affordable than actual serums, so if you are not looking for something serious, they will do the job for your skin.
If your skin is in need of more heavy duty intense hydration, it may be best to layer a hydrating serum underneath the cream for better hydration longevity. It's your choice whether to use both a boosting essence in lotion and a hydrating serum before moisturising or not, but the majority of people will be fine by using either one of those.
Firming and lifting serums including their new Sisleÿa L'Intégral Anti-Age Firming Concentrated Serum also work very well with Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age Extra-Rich cream and Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age cream, and I've noticed in my skin that they really complement each other when used together. One thing to be noted based on my personal experience though, it's best to avoid putting on the serums that form a silicone veil onto skin as it gets rubbed off during the light massaging process when using underneath Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age Extra-Rich cream.

It's always brilliant to add some oomph to skin especially when you are on holidays or even just on weekends as we tend to be less stressed out from work. Or, you could still give your skin some intensive treatment after holidays or a long day at work when our skin is prone to look and feel rather dull. Here are some of intensive treatments that you could incorporate into your regime alongside Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age Extra-Rich cream and Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age cream, which will help the process of your skin energy charging :).
I hope this post was helpful, and if you are by any chance still contemplating which one to get between Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age Extra-Rich cream and Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age cream, I suggest you to get the lighter version as it can turn out more versatile unless you have dry skin. Regardless, they both work very well and I wish you all the best with your skincare journey! ❤
