Review > Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night (1989) at Y's Nail in Bellevue (ft. The French Bakery)

Published by Jasmine Seo

Yoko, the nail artist that I normally see is away for two weeks, so I saw Saki instead.
I wasn't quite sure how good or skillful she is, but I had to stick my initial idea on my nail art for this month, so I took Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night with me XD.

My man and I arrived at Sola Studios a bit earlier than we thought, so we decided to grab lunch at The French Bakery before my appointment with Saki.

I don't remember the exact names of the menu, but those panini and crepe are the only ones that had goat cheese, so you will be able to tell easily if you want to try out in the future :).

The panini was just okay, but the crepe though! The crepe tasted very fresh and it was simply very pleasant. Definitely if you are a goat cheese lover like us, then you should try out <3

After quick lunch, we headed upstairs to see Saki XD. She asked me whether I have come up with any ideas for the month, so I just asked her if she could do Starry Night first as I didn't want to push her to something that's a bit complicated :3. Luckily, she told me that she could try although she has never done such painting on nails as most of people just go with something more simple.

I was very glad that she gave me a positive answer, but in the back of my mind, I started getting a bit concerned about the chance of failure O_O. Oh no! >:-(. Too bad, the dice had already been thrown, so I waited patiently until my nails were done as Saki was trying the best that she could do :3. Thank you, Saki! <3

And the outcome?
Tada~

I know, they don't look exactly like the masterpiece done by Vincent van Gogh, but hey, still looking pretty awesome, no? We think that Saki did a great job for her very first attempt without any practice! :D
