My very first luxury eye cream that my mother got for me when I turned 15 was actually from Dior, and I have fond memory with it as it was my very first skincare routine that I set for my face other than using lip balm and sunscreens. I still have vivid memories of my mother reminding me of very importance of taking a good care of eye, lip and neck area since I was young.
Scent & Consistency
Dior Prestige The Eye Concentrate smells of roses, but the scent is quite subtle that it didn't irritate my eye area at all.
The eye cream has a creamy texture, but the finish of it is satiny rather than rich and greasy.
It goes on very smooth and it preps the eye area well for following eye make-up. There's also a subtle firming sensation upon application accompanied by a mini massage around the eye area.
A ritual of excellence combining the power of the legendary Rose de Granville with the sculpting strength of the Open-EyeTM applicator. With the eyes closed, its entire eye area application delivers a divinely fresh and enveloping texture for a more complete regeneration. Its action is boosted by the Open EyeTM applicator. This technological wonder reproduces the expert techniques of the Dior Institut thanks to its double-rotating pearls. Instantly, the eye contour area is smoothed, marks of fatigue disappear. Day after day, the eyes open up, magnified by greater lashes.
Dior Prestige Le Concentré Yeux is refillable: a sustainable approach for lasting beauty.

As expected from the nature of Dior in general, Dior Prestige The Eye Concentrate works very well especially with eye make-up. I'm not saying that it's a great eye make-up base, but what I mean is that it doesn't interfere with following eye make-up application at least considering the fact that it still falls into the anti-aging category. Unlike other anti-aging eye creams from different luxury skincare brands, Dior Prestige The Eye Concentrate doesn't have any rich or heavy residue, which may seem to be a double sword to some of you. Indeed, if you use eye make-up products on a daily basis, you will love the eye cream. However, if you are someone who enjoys rather rich textures or even have dry eye area like me, then you may not appreciate it as much.
Despite its fast-absorbing beautiful creamy consistency, I found the eye cream not hydrating and moisturising enough especially during colder seasons. Having said that, it's a winner for Summer as I've noticed that my eyelid doesn't get as oily during the day and it somewhat helps my under eye concealer stay in place longer. I would say that Dior Prestige The Eye Concentrate is a reliable daytime eye cream, but personally, I've always felt that it's still not quite enough to be used during the nighttime due to its lack of hydration longevity.
I didn't see much difference in my eye area either, which can be both good and bad as it means that it works great for maintaining and preventing future wrinkles, but on the other hand, the eye cream is still not powerful enough to bring some noticeable improvements to the area including controlling under eye dark circles and puffiness.
Dior Prestige The Eye Concentrate may not be the most effective anti-aging eye cream for dry / mature skin, but it will still work well for younger skin to keep the first signs of aging at bay and for the better eye make-up application.
