Review > La Prairie Skin Caviar Liquid Lift VS La Mer The Lifting Contour Serum

Published by Jasmine Seo

I was very much invested in lifting serums when I was in my mid 20's as I was heavily focused on my weight management especially during my cycle, so I naturally used a lot of lifting products like La Mer The Lifting Contour Serum and La Prairie Skin Caviar Liquid Lift.

Part of Your World

Either of those serums work well all season round, but for my normal skin, I preferred La Mer The Lifting Contour Serum during late Spring and Summer, and La Prairie Skin Caviar Liquid Lift for the rest of the year. La Mer one has a runny texture that feels much lighter on skin, which makes it ideal for hot and humid weather condition. Having said that, La Prairie Skin Caviar Liquid Lift has a delicate runny serumulsion (serum+emulsion) type of consistency, so it was one of my go-to serums during my cycle when I don't really need many heavy products on my face.

I kind of took that as an opportunity to detox my skincare routine, so I would rather take time and give myself a relaxing facial massage with face oil before applying serum. As for the results, you can expect firming, jaw contouring and healing/skin regeneration including pimple mark benefits from both La Mer The Lifting Contour Serum and La Prairie Skin Caviar Liquid Lift.

However, my skin felt more resilient and strengthened with La Prairie Skin Caviar Liquid Lift after using it for a while, whereas La Mer The Lifting Contour Serum feels more like a tensor. If you are looking for an anti-wrinkle serum, La Mer The Lifting Contour Serum and La Prairie Skin Caviar Liquid Lift might not be the best for your money as they are more focused on firming and contouring.
