I never would have expected that Sisley's Sisleÿa Eye and Lip Contour Cream has been loved by my family members one by one. I initially got the newly launched eye cream from Hong Kong International airport as a gift for my mother during my trip to Asia years ago. Then, my mother saw a positive experience with her dark circles, and the positive virus started to spread in my family :P. I must say that it's not a holy grail magical product, but I think that it's one of the best eye creams in the natural beauty category. It certainly helps with aging gracefully, which is both my own and also my family's key focus when it comes down to skin aging. However, if you are someone who's looking for something more corrective and instant, then getting an in-office treatment done might be a better option for that case.
Scent & Texture
There's no recognisable irritating scent. It smells very natural and there's almost no scent other than a slight hue of botanical, not essential oil. My family including my man never had a problem with the eye cream and it never caused cold sores on my sensitive lips, which shows how non-irritating the eye cream is :).
Thick creamy texture that melts into skin fast and spreads very easily. It leaves skin feeling comfortable with instantly hydrated.
The eye cream is on the rich side compared to most other eye creams on the market, but it doesn't have that heavy oily residue once it's fully absorbed. There's also no filmy residue, which makes the texture buildable and workable, so you can basically customise how much hydration you want from the eye cream.

Effectiveness
Sisleÿa Eye and Lip Contour Cream is nearly as hydrating as La Prairie Cellular Eye Contour Cream. Although it leans towards to the rich and heavy side, I don’t think that it migrates into eyes or cheeks since it hasn’t burned or stung my eyes.
If you have oily eyelids, then I recommend you use a tiny amount there before putting on some concealer. My eye area’s quite dry, so I always find Sisleÿa Eye and Lip Contour Cream makes a great base for my concealer. It just makes it go very smooth and makes my wrinkles under there less visible. And it seems to help me throughout the day combating dark circles, which is great.
Regarding puffiness? Hmm, I guess it helps since I don’t get much puffiness around my eye area unless I have instant noodles or a pizza a night before XD. Dark circles and puffiness is more related to your inner health and lifestyle, so if you have those issues, I think you should check on your diet and daily lifestyle first. Sometimes, it can be genetic too :(.
How about when used around the lips and corners of mouth?
Well, to be honest, I didn’t see much improvement on wrinkles or any lifting effect, but it didn’t make them look worse either. Sisleÿa Eye and Lip Contour Cream hydrates and absorbs well that I found it great to use as a lipstick base XD I also noticed that when I use the eye cream before putting on my lip balm, my lips look a bit plumper and hydration lasts very well throughout the night without reapplying. I also always use it on any dry/ irritated areas on my face, which has been working well on me.
You only need to use the eye cream a tiny amount to cover your entire eye area and lips. One jar normally lasts me about 4+ months. It’s true that Sisleÿa Eye and Lip Contour Cream is priced relatively expensively, but I think it’s well worth it for a preventative measure.
